Once a month, Ken gets a new digital print to show on one of the big screens downstairs. These shows are NOT free – they cost $7 ($5 for Asheville Film Society) and are quite worth it.
This month’s film is the classic 1974 private eye thriller, Chinatown, starring Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway.
Also once a month, ActionFest puts on a movie. This month, the ActionFest feature is on Thursday July 18th and it is…I Declare War. I Declare War won Best Picture at last year’s ActionFest and it was in a rough workprint edition. This will be the full theatrical release.
Like previous ActionFest films, there will be a donation of $10 that goes to benefit Homeward Bound and there will be FREE popcorn and drinks.
