November’s New Netflix Titles

A new month brings a new crop of movies from Netflix.

Last year’s Best Picture winner, The Artist is now available as is one of this year’s Snow White movies, Mirror, Mirror.

Even though Halloween is over, there are some new horror movies: Stephen King’s Thinner, In Dreams, The Boys from Brazil, Graveyard Shift, Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers and Bordello of Blood.

Classic movies get quite a boost (about time) with: Woody Allen’s Manhattan, Anna Karenina (1948), Twelve O’Clock High, The 300 Spartans, Hombre, The Grapes of Wrath (1940), The Turning Point, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Morituri, The House on Telegraph Hill, An Officer and a Gentleman, and For Whom the Bell Tolls (1943)

There is a fair amount of comedy, though I am not sure there are many laughs: Doctor Detroit, Throw Momma from the Train, Scary Movie 2, How to be a Serial Killer, The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle, Stop! Or my Mom will Shoot, Casino Royale (1967), and Airheads.

On the television front we get: Sons of Anarchy season 4, Psych season 6, Treasure Island, and Underbelly.
