Even More Netflix September Offerings

Wow! September brought a phenomenal influx of movies to Netflix streaming. Here are some more options for you:

Television shows added include season 4 of Parks & Recreation, new episodes of Grey’s Anatomy, Dinosaurs, and new episodes of American Loggers.

Plenty of vintage Eddie Murphy (i.e. his funny films) became available: Coming to America, Beverly Hills Cop, Beverly Hills Cop II and the unfortunate Beverly Hills Cop III.

The fun Highlander appeared but I forgot to mention that the sequel Highlander II is also streaming. This is possibly due to how awful Highlander II is, taking everything that was fun about the first one and throwing it away. This is the revised version and supposedly fixes some of the ridiculous alien story but I’m withholding judgment until I see it.

Speaking of unnecessary sequels, while Chinatown is a classic, the sequel The Two Jakes is not – though it is enjoyable.

Comedies abound including: Tommy Boy, Private Parts, A Night at the Roxbury, Superstar, Runaway Bride, What Women Want (hint Mel – it is probably not verbal abuse), The Queens of Comedy, Something’s Gotta Give, Without a Paddle, The Longest Yard (Sandler version though the Reynolds one is also available), Yours, Mine and Ours, Failure to Launch and South Park: Bigger Longer, Uncut.

On the dramatic side of things, try: The Doors, Double Jeopardy, Eve’s Bayou, Varsity Blues, Payback, The Great Gatsby, Vanilla Sky and Sunset Boulevard.
